One bedroom cottage for two - antique brass four poster, open fireplace, listed building
Honey Cottage exudes enchantment ~ part of a listed Cornish long house, with the doorways and stairwell a little lower than average. Upstairs, Honey's lovely, romantic bedroom has an original feature fireplace, now ornamental and a genuine, antique brass bedstead furnished as an exquisite four poster double bed (4'6"), draped daintily in pretty Laura Ashley fabric. A sash window overlooks a wonderful, south westerly view, and the ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Downstairs, the living room is delightful, very cottagey and a little bijou - our only one bedroom cottage to have two armchairs rather than a sofa and armchair. The kitchen is fully equipped* and has a wooden panelled, half partition allowing you to see into the lounge and dining area. There is a fabulous open fireplace and, from the dining table beside the sash window, you can look out into Honey's sunny garden with its very own, spectacularly deep, well, (grilled over, of course) and lit up at night!
